Further tho my Optimum Diet for Health , including Candida, Cancer, and all chronic conditions of dis-ease, I have been asked many times about the pros and cons of Vegetarian, Vegan, Keto, Carnivore, and many other “DIETS”.
I do not espouse “diets” as most people think of them, but rather encourage you to listen closely to and monitor YOUR body’s needs. You have probably heard, “you are your own best doctor.” After all, you are the one living in your body, right? Pay attention.
In my book, The Paw Paw Program, I cover dietary recommendations in considerable detail. I mention blood type, body type, metabolic type, lifestyle including activity level, job, age, as all being important considerations. These are all personal to you, and therefore, I do not recommend one diet.
I have , since the 1970’s, been consistent with these recommendations:
- no junk food, which usually contain the 5 deadly whites,
- no toxins, additives, pesticides, fertilizers,
- no injecting poisons, such as aluminum, formaldehyde, mercury, foreign DNA , animal cells into your blood stream via vaccinations. Period.
- the least processing of food possible. The closer you can get to what nature provides, the better your health.
- Laboratory produced crickets do NOT fit into this picture, no matter what movie star is getting paid to promote them, or what school district is being bribed to give samples to unsuspecting children.
- Herbs are still one of our most potent sources of nutrition.
Herbs are power houses….
of vitamins and minerals, plus enzymes and phytochemicals and phytonutrients, of which there are more than 500 known to date. Research is forthcoming daily, showing the science that supports why herbs have been used for healing for millennium.
When purchased through reputable companies that are able to test for purity and potency, they are one of the most amazing gifts of nature. Which is why I have been using them since early 1980’s, and Nature’s Sunshine formulations since 1990. Growing your own organically, of course, is also a great option! Understand the Corporate Agenda Behind the Global Plant-Based Food Movement
This recent article from Orthomolecular Medicine is excellent for pointing out how corporate greed and government lobbying has changed the playing field for food and the backbone of society, the farmers. Adding the “climate change scam, the “green movement”, one has to become even more aware of these interests influencing what food is available to us. I have bolded one sentence that truly speaks to me.
“The modern narrative favouring plant-based diets over meat-based ones is significantly shaped by corporate interests, with extensive marketing campaigns and industry-sponsored research influencing public perception. Despite claims of inherent health and safety benefits, plant-based foods contain naturally occurring toxins and are often exposed to pollutants like pesticides. An evolutionary perspective further suggests that humans are either designed for or naturally adapted to diets rich in animal-based foods; a plant-dominant diet may thus conflict with the dietary patterns that supported human development over millions of years. While plant-based foods may contribute to a balanced diet, consumers should remain mindful of the corporate influence, potential health risks, and nutritional limitations associated with exclusively plant-based diets. A balanced approach, incorporating whole, minimally processed plant and animal foods may better support human health and align with evolutionary biology. For both healthcare professionals and consumers, it is crucial to critically assess all sources of dietary information, acknowledging that even trusted institutions, including regulatory agencies and medical schools, can be swayed by external interests. Ultimately, a holistic and evidence-based approach to nutrition, free from undue corporate influence, will better align with both evolutionary principles and modern health needs.”
